PSEUDOLOGIA FANTASTICA is BBC award-winning vocalist/ composer, Christine Tobin’s latest work. It is a mixed media, performance piece
of multiple short compositions that include spoken word, song, electronic fx, hand percussion, pre-recorded soundscapes & compositions played by Christine, against a backdrop of striking images. Pseudologia Fantastica meaning pathological liar, charts a journey that explores themes of disinformation, the war on words, the misappropriation of new technologies, the rise of far-right ideologies and ultimately the corresponding rise of community, resistance and the kindness of the human spirit. A change is coming. Christine performs with cellist Kate Shortt and guitarist Phil Robson.
